Aaaaand we’re back!

It’s been a long summer, but 20FF is back and we have very exciting news. Our editor, Caitlin, gives you the lowdown as we relaunch for the new academic year.

Welcome back, readers!

I’m thrilled to be back up and running after the summer, we have so many exciting things to look forward to this year and so many awesome things to share with you.

To start with, we are now not only 20FOUR FRAMES, the UEL film magazine, but we have now established FilmSoc UEL, the UEL film society.

We will have a stall at Freshers Week so if you’re interested in getting involved come down and see us at our little table! There’ll be free pens… probably… maybe… but there will definitely be information about the UELSU Freshers’ Free Film Festival which we are running, all the details of that you need to become a member of the society and the schedules for our weekly film screenings, plus a whole load more.

Our most exciting piece of news is that we’ve partnered up with Picturehouse Stratford East. They are offering members of our society a whole load of benefits and we are bowled over by their enthusiasm and generosity, it shows what a good thing we have going here and we want you, our lovely readers, to be the first to know!

We will have plenty of brilliant reviews, features and news coming your way from our wonderful writers here on 20FF, and of course we will be showcasing the work of as many film-making students as possible, we have big aims for what we want to do for the film students of London.

So please, wrap up warm cos the leaves will soon be falling and curl up with a cup of tea and keep reading! And as always, if you want to get involved, maybe even join our shiny new society, drop us a line.
