News: 4:33 Silent Film Festival accepting submissions

Ready to make your mark? 4’33″ Silent Film Festival is now open for video work submissions. All work must comply with two criteria only. The clue is in the title. Anyone can enter film industry professional or not: so this is perfect for UEL students. Get involved.

4:33 Silent Film Festival is a great opportunity to have your video work shown on a public platform. They only have two criteria for entry; all submissions must be exactly 4 minutes 33 seconds long and all submissions must be silent films. Style, subject – the rest is up to your imagination! Anyone is welcome to enter, whether you’ve worked with film before or if it’s your first time and all films submitted will be screened during the event.

The deadline for submissions is the 26 April 2013. The festival takes place in May, in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
